Dr. Nigel Hopkins
President

Hopkins has over 20 years of in depth experience and innovation in the research industry. During this time he has been immersed in every facet of the traditional research process including qualitative, quantitative, primary and secondary research methods. Prior to founding Clariom, Hopkins was heavily involved in the development and implementation of Internet-based research technologies: Initially as senior vice president of research and product development for NFO Worldwide's information technology vertical and then as vice president of the advanced products group for MarketTools, Inc. (the firm responsible for developing zTelligence and Zoomerang).

Having led numerous methodologically complex projects with companies such as Microsoft, Motorola, Merck, Pfizer, 3M, NDC Healthcare and Procter and Gamble during his career, he has succeeded in some of the most demanding client environments. This experience has given him an acute understanding of the service level requirements of the world's most savvy research consumers. This knowledge is leveraged extensively in the design and implementation of solutions for Clariom's clients.

As a highly qualified marketing scientist, Hopkins has published in several leading academic journals including the Journal of Marketing Research, the Journal of Business-to-Business Marketing and Social Networks. He received his Ph.D. in marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and Masters (with First-Class Honors) and Bachelors degrees from the University of Auckland in New Zealand.

Lesley Kahn
Vice President of Operations

Kahn has over a decade of operations and financial management experience (domestically and internationally) in the technology, consulting, financial services and consumer packaged goods sectors. She has held positions with Chase Manhattan, Towers Perrin, the E. and J. Gallo Winery and MarketTools, Inc. Prior to joining Clariom, Kahn served as director of business development for MarketTools where she played a leading role in the development and launch of Zoomerang - an award-winning, web-based technology for self-serve survey design, fielding and reporting.

Kahn brings a strong operational and implementation background to Clariom which is extensively leveraged in the creation of processes and procedures designed to deliver the highest responsiveness and quality possible to Clariom's clients. Kahn has an MBA from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business; an MA in international relations from the University of Chicago School of Social Sciences; and a BA, Magna cum Laude, from Mount Holyoke College. She also studied at the London School of Economics and the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris.
